PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

"The Highest Service We Can Perform for Others Is To Help Them Help Themselves."

Welcome to MKAC. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.

Let me first say that the remarkable progress that MKAC has made over the past 6 years was only possible because of the kind-heartedness and generosity of people like you who support our efforts to uplift lives of kidney patients and persons suffering from chronic illness.

Kidney patients endure much pain and suffering and they need all the help and support they can get. Their patience and perseverance in the face of adversity make them deserving of our compassion.

MKAC has been in the forefront of providing assistance to kidney patients for more than 20 years. Our dedicated staff and team of volunteers have work tirelessly to provide them with the assistance they need as they cope with their kidney disease. Such assistance includes the following :

  • Financial assistance for dialysis, medical treatment and for medicines
  • Transport to dialysis centres especially for those who are blind and those on wheelchairs
  • Finding work for the unemployed kidney patients
  • Skills training courses and educational talks
  • Education and enrichment classes for their children
  • Home and hospital visits by our volunteers to provide support and comfort
  • Disbursement of Zakat

On our part we pledge to honour your donation and your trust by working to the very best of our abilities in helping our kidney patients and uplifting their lives. We are and will always be mindful that we are custodians of public funds and accountable for every cent entrusted to us.

May God bless you and your family members for your kindheartedness and your charitable deeds.

Ameerali Abdeali JP, PPA (G), PBM

President, MKAC
